Yesterday we kick-started our first sermon in our new series, Kingdom Come! đź‘‘
Pastor Tammy reminded us that prayer begins with position.
In order to know where we stand and how we are positioned when we pray, we need to know what God thinks of us. And He calls us kings and priests.
That means we don’t pray from a position of an orphan or a beggar.
We don’t pray from striving.
We don’t pray from insecurity.
We pray from identity.
We pray from authority.
We pray as kings and priests on this earth.
“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done.”
Let’s step into the position heaven has already given us.
Resurrection Sunday changes everything.
The stone was rolled away, death was defeated, and hope walked out of the grave. 🌅✝️
Because He lives, we have freedom.
Because He lives, we have purpose.
Because He lives, we have eternal hope.
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6

Today is Passover!
Passover is a God-ordained feast that remembers the night in Exodus 12 when God delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. The Lord instructed His people to sacrifice a spotless lamb and place its blood on their doorposts. When the angel of death passed through the land, it passed over the homes marked by the blood. That blood was a sign of protection, deliverance, and covenant and it marked the beginning of Israel’s freedom from Pharaoh.
But Passover was always pointing to something greater.
Jesus became the Lamb who was slain for us. His blood was not placed on wooden doorposts, but on a wooden cross. Where the blood of the lamb once caused judgment to pass over the Israelites, the blood of Jesus defeated sin and death once and for all. He didn’t just bring temporary deliverance from Egypt. He brought eternal deliverance from sin.
Passover has been fulfilled in Christ.
He is our perfect Lamb.
He is our Deliverer.
He is our freedom.
And it was during Passover that Jesus instituted Communion taking the bread and the cup and revealing that the feast had always been about Him. “This is My body… This is My blood.” What began in Exodus found its fullness at the cross.
The feasts are God-ordained and filled with prophetic beauty they carry the story of Jesus woven through every detail.
Today we remember:
The blood still speaks.
Freedom has come.
Death has been defeated. 🕊️
How Jesus fulfils all the Old Testament prophecies is nothing short of breathtaking. #passover #christianlife #campsbay #family
They waved palm branches.
They shouted “Hosanna.”
They welcomed Him like a King. 🌿
But Palm Sunday isn’t just about celebration it’s about recognition.
Jesus didn’t enter Jerusalem with power and force.
He came in humility.
He came in peace.
He came knowing the cross was ahead.
“Hosanna” means save us now and that’s exactly what He came to do.
This Holy Week, don’t just admire Him as part of the crowd.
Welcome Him as King.
Follow Him beyond the praise.
Hosanna in the highest. 🌿✨
